Commercial Register
The Commercial Register is a public register in which (certain) business entities are recorded—all business companies and cooperatives (always and without exception) and certain self-employed individuals (mostly only upon their own request; mandatory registration occurs only exceptionally).
Limited liability companies are established upon entry into the Commercial Register and cease to exist upon their removal from it.
For a limited liability company, the recorded data typically includes the business name, registered office, scope of business and/or activities, details of shareholders and their contributions, details of executive directors (including their number and manner of representation), and the registered capital. The entry may also contain additional information as required.
The Commercial Register can be viewed free of charge on the website of the Ministry of Justice (www.justice.cz).
