Price list of notary services for LLC establishment
Many entrepreneurs who wish to conduct business through a limited liability company are concerned about excessively high costs associated with the actual formation of the LLC. In reality, such fear is misplaced, provided you decide to use the services of a notary directly when forming the company. Read on to find out what notary fees you can expect.
The idea that forming an “LLC” is expensive arose primarily due to various intermediaries who charge additional fees for this process. However, if you decide to form an LLC directly with a notary, you will receive a price that does not include any unnecessary extra services.
The price list of notary services for forming a limited liability company, as well as notary fees in general, is governed by a fixed notary tariff, or the relevant laws and decrees. There is therefore no risk that you would pay less or more for the drafting of a notarial deed at one notary than at another. You can always agree with the notary on the scope and price of related services; you can use all of them, only a part, or none at all. Intermediation fees are also eliminated (if you visit the notary yourself, you will make the entire process cheaper and faster).
So, how much does it cost to form a limited liability company with a notary?
Price List of Notarial Acts
- Drafting a notarial deed for the formation of a “simple” LLC, if it contains only the mandatory requirements required by law: CZK 2,000 (in other cases, according to the amount of registered capital)
- Drafting a notarial deed of certification for entry into the Commercial Register: CZK 1,200
- Fee for entry into the Commercial Register: CZK 500
- Official verification of a signature on the consent to the placement of the registered office: CZK 70
- Extract from the Real Estate Register: CZK 100
- Official verification of a signature on the executive’s declaration: CZK 70
Listed here are the most common notary costs that you pay in connection with the formation of a company. In some cases, this list is final and, apart from VAT, you will not pay anything else. For more complex cases, always clarify the specifics of your company and what other documents you will need to prepare during a consultation with the notary so that they can provide you with a more accurate cost estimate.
Other costs associated with LLC formation
The items listed above are among the services provided to you by a notary when forming an “LLC”. Sometimes, the following items also need to be included in the total amount for forming an LLC:
- For a “simplified” LLC, the court fee is not paid; if it is not a “simplified” LLC, you will also pay a court fee of CZK 2,700
- Trade notification
- Bank fee
The bank fee is governed by the bank’s price list and can range from zero to several hundred crowns. Whether you choose your own bank, another bank, the nearest bank, or the cheapest bank will be entirely up to you. Similarly, at the Trade Licensing Office, the fee amount will depend on the tariff and will be the same whether you form the company yourself or as part of a ready-made package. Both are usually settled within CZK 1,000. You can also choose a Trade Licensing Office at your own discretion. Some choose the nearest one, while others choose an office that is not as busy and will not have a long wait for processing.
As is evident, you do not need to save up extensively to form a limited liability company. Notary fees are transparent and their amount is not staggering.
